Some of you may have found this blog through my guest stint at Ta-Nehisi Coates’s blog on TheAtlantic.com — welcome! As you’ll see, what I do here tends to be a bit more “inside baseball” than the more general topics I’ve tackled over there; but the baseball in question — the incarceration of 1 in 100 American adults — is something that I think we should all be paying way more attention to.
