Intermittent Blogging (If Any) for the Next Week or Two

leave a comment »

Hi all — for various reasons I’ll be unable to blog much, if at all, for the next week or so; possibly the next two weeks, but hopefully no longer than that. (There may be some guest posts from other authors.) It pains me to say it because in the almost five months since I’ve had this blog, writing and editing posts has become a highlight of my day and I haven’t had to take too many extended breaks. But, now the time for a break has come. In the meantime, I hope you’ll click around the topical archives in the righthand column as well as the links to other, even more awesome blogs if you are looking for something to read. If you want to make sure you’ll be notified when I’m back up and running again at full speed, you can subscribe to the blog via e-mail or RSS feed using the links in the righthand column, or follow my Twitter account.

I’d also like to use this occasion to thank you all for reading over the past few months. As depressing as the subject matter on this blog can be, the responses I’ve received have been just as uplifting. I have so appreciated the comments from readers who contribute to conversations on the blog, the emails from those with links to suggest or words of encouragement, the links to my posts on other sites around the Internet. I’m glad to feel I’m participating, in some small way, in the conversation about much-needed criminal justice reform in this country. So, I will be back soon and hope you will too!
