Web Resource: Criminal Justice Podcasts from Berkeley
UC-Berkeley recently launched a weekly 30-minute podcast featuring interviews with “a wide range of criminal justice leaders: law enforcement officials, policymakers, advocates, service providers, academics and others.” All of the programs are available for live streaming, RSS/iTunes subscription, or individual download here, at the Berkeley website. In this week’s episode, host David Onek interviews Mimi Silbert, president and CEO of the Delancey Street Foundation, which runs residential rehabilitation programs. Previous episodes include interviews with former San Quentin warden Jeanne Woodford, San Francisco DA Kamala Harris, and San Francisco police chief George Gascon. The podcast is co-produced by the Berkeley Center for Criminal Justice and the Berkeley School of Journalism, and highlights are aired on local public radio station KALW (91.7 FM).
